The annual flood at Eden Park has arrived, and, as a consequence, no matches were played there this afternoon. Water was not lying all over the ground, but the surface was thoroughly soaked, and there were big pools in the low-lying places. It m-ay be taken for granted that there will be no more play there this season. SECOmj GRADE. TABERNACLE A V. OLYMPIC. After a splendidly-contested game, Tabernacle won by jpnr goals to 2. For the winners, L. Grlbble (2), S. Gribble scored, while one was scored by the Olympic goalkeeper knocking through. TMXKJj GRADE. ST. JOHN'S v. NORTH SHORE. This match resulted in a rwln for St. John's -by 3 goals to 2 goals. .Neilson (2) and Dickenson scored for St. John's, and Mutton and Whittaker also played well. Leacwood scored twice for Shore, and played well. DUNEDIN. DUNEDIN, this day. The first grade matches resulted: Ravensbourne (2) beat Maori Hill (l); Morningtou (2) beat City (nil); Northern drew with Ruslyn-Waikari (2 goals each).
