THE CONFERENCE ENDED!
WELLINGTON, Sunday. The conference of delegates from the various branches of the Post and Telegraph Officers* Association., which has been sitting in Wellington durin-r the past week, concluded its business yesterjday in the election of officers for the j ensuing period. I n view of Mr. A. Mill, j who has held the offict, or president dur- ,' ing the last two years, declining re-elec-j tion, Mr. J. Mulvcy, of Invercargiil, was j unanimously nominated and elected as j president of the association. Mr. W. Mcj Kinnon, of Waihi, was elected vice-presi-Ident. - r A liearty vote of thanks and.appreciation was accorded the retiring president for the most able manner in which he had conducted the business of- the conference and his services to the association during his period of office
