LONDON CABLE. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, Auckland, have received the following cablegram from, their London house, under date 13th July, ■1010:— Wheat—Sold at 34/3 c.lf., Australian, cargo. Canterbury style: Inferior merino common 60/64 - s quality, 10d to IOJd per lb; superior merino, super, 60/64 - e quality, 12d to 13d; half or quarter-bred, uG's quality, average condition, 12d -to 13d. Prices of all kinds of sheepskins are lower par to 5 per cent. Current prices are: For merino full woolled, Od: for merino short and shorn, 5d- for crossbred, full woolled, fine, lOJd; for crossbred, full woolled, coarse, 9d; for .crossbred half to three-quarter, woolled, fine, 9d- for crossbred, hrflf to three-quarter, coarse, Sd; for crossbred, short and shorn, 6d." Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., have received the following cablegram from their London house under date 14th July:—"Since last sales merino sheepskins and short and shorn sheepskins have declined in price id per lb; other descriptions }d to Jd per lb." The reaming of the Birthday well is progressing, boring at No. 3 is down to 3000 feet, and the bore is nearly full of oil.
