BOWLING.
;ST MT. EDEN CLUB SOCIAL. 'A large gathering of members of the Mt. Eden Bowling Clnb and brothers of the ■wood from other clubs was held in the Masonic Hall, Mt. Eden, last night, the occasion being the annual social and presentation of prizes. Between 70 and 80 'bowlers were present, the chair being occupied by the president (Mr. R. Rankin), while associated with him were Messrs. O. Nicholson, president ol the A.P.8.A., and C. Hudson. The evening, which was voted one of the most successful of the sort ever held by the club, sped along all too quickly, an excellent programme of musical items, reminiscences, and anecdotes assisting to the harmony and general diversion.
