Mr. Asquith, the Earl of Crewe, Lord Northcote, and other prominent men attended Sir Geo. H. Reid's luncheon to Earl Grey prior to his departure for Canada. S. N. Doust, of Lydney, partnered by M. J. G. Ritchie (England) won the doubles championship at the Berkshire tennis tournament, and Mr. and Mrs. Lambert Chambers the mixed doubles.
