BUSH FIRES IN MONTANA.
A. TOWN IN JEOPARDY. RINGED BY FLAMES. (Beeeived 9.35 ajn.) NEW YORK, July 14. The extreme heat following the long try spell in the North Western States Ik caused extensive forest fires in Montana, where thirteen fires, each sweeping j suaiy square miles of standing timber, "ire in progress. " Jie town of Whitefish is seriously i ikjeatened, being ringed by blazing j forest.
