REMUERA WATER SUPPLY.
-.a; communication -was -received -at - tha City Council last evening from the Reniuera Road Board, inquiring on what terms the Council would supply the Remuer'a Road; District' with water frbin Mount Eden Reservoir. The Board understood that Mount Eden Borough Council desired to be supplied from this reservoir at a cost of 1/ per thousand ' gallons, and that owing to the increased volume of consumption it would be possible to supply Remuera at the' same rate. The Board.would, if the contract was entered-into, put in .the 'connection and meter at the reservoir, and no cxi pendituie" "would be incurred by the Council, a lv. reference to the -application the I waterworks engineer (Mr. J.
