(By Telegraph.—Parliamentary Reporter.) WELLINGTON, this day. Some interesting figures upon the controversial subject of land tenure are contained in the annual report of the Lands Department. The selection of Crown lands last year was made upon the following tenures:—

Ordinary Crown Lands.—Cash lands: Number of selections 356, area 861S acres; 0.r.p., 307 selections, 108,151 acres; 1.i.p., 4 selections, 1011 acres; renewable lease (town and rural), 34 selections, 8553 acres; improved farm settlements, 220 selections, 33,605 acres; pastoral run 3, 68 selections, 1,057,602 acres; miscellaneous, selections, 89,555 acres. Land for Settlement.—Cash land, 10 selections, 254 acres; renewable lease, 274 selections, 58,430 acres; miscellaneous, 18 selections, 520 acres.

National Endowments. — Renewable •lease, 303 selections, 8.1,051 acres; ditto, village settlements, 32 selections, 352 acres; improved farm settlements, 30 selections, 6300 acres'; small grazing runs, 43 selections, 295,6*27 acres; pastoral runs, 44 .elections, 604,51S acres; miscellaneous, 100 selections, 29,420 acres.
