(By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) OOROMANHEL, this day. The mine is now unwatered, and the shaft is being overhauled preparatory to sinking it 80ft. deeper.

iWAIHI GRAND JUNCTION.

ANNUAL MEETING. The London office of the Waihi Grand Junction forwarded the following cable yesterday 'afternoon to the local attorneys regarding the annual meeting of shareholders:—"Meeting paased oil' satisfactory; company out of debt; cash balances, including remittances in transit, £05,000; reserves, 142,000 tons. Output will be increased to 400 tons per day, as soon as additional plant erected." OLD HAURAKI. The manager telegraphed this morning:—"lOOlhs. of picked atone from the leading stope at the 300 foot level; gold showing." After receipt of the news, the shares sold at 4/8, and l were still offered at that figure, with buyers a penny under. MINE MANAGER'S REPORTS. Waihi Extended.—The manager reports that during the past week the south-east crosscut was advanced 16ft, making !53Sft from the shaft.
