Some newspapers assert that aa the result of the repeated blows which he received upon his right eye, which was damaged in the fourth round, and which suffered severely afterwards, Jeffries will probably lose the sight of the eye. The syndicate for the exploitation of the Jeffries-Johnson biograph pictures declare thatfthey will not attempt to force the pictures on communities legislating against them. They promise to permanently shelve the pictures if popular sentiment is adverse to them. LONDON, July 8. The Glasgow Corporation is discussing the prohibition of the Johnson-Jeffries fight pictures. OTTAWA, July 8. The Government of Ontario has absolutely forbidden the exhibition of the fight pictures.
