NEW ZEALAND VETERINARIES

(From. Our Special Correspondent.) LONDON, May 13. Three Government veterinary surgeons for New Zealand were appointed this -week through the "High CommissionerMessrs. E. C. Howard, R. Finch, and W- W. H. Edwards. Mr. Edmund Howard, who is 31 years of age and unmarried, is in private practice at' Nairn, -where he also acts as meat inspector and; sanitary inspector. He is a graduate of Dick Veterinary College, Edinburgh, and lias been connected with meat inspection- for five years. Mr. Richard FinchJ of Chorley, Lanes., is 30 years old, and unmarried. He has ■been for the past seven years assistant to Mr. A. Povit't, at Lanes. He ■holds the diploma in veterinary state medicine of Victoria University, Manchester.

Mr. Wm. Watkin Herbert Edwards is m private practice at. Donygarth, Hay, sear Hereford.""He - is"34 years old, and married, with one child. He served in the South African Constabulary from 1901 to 1904, and gained experience in meat inspection and in the London meat markets.—
