JAPANESE PRINCE.

SUDDEN RECALL PROM AMERICA NEW FORK, June 13. Prince and Princess Fushhna, of Japan, who are at present on a visit to the United States, received a dispatch from Tokio to-day, in which they were informed that they must cut short their stay in this country. The Prince's sudden recall is a- prominent topic of discussion in diplomatic circles in Washington to-day.

There is a good deal of speculation as to whether the order for the Prince's return has any connection with Japan's intention to renounce the existing treaty with the United States.

It r≤ believed that, the treaty will be formally renounced. Such an act on the part of Japan, it' is pointed out, would not necessarily be a sign of hostility. 11 is thought that in taking thJs step Japan was prompted by a desire not to place Prince Fnshima in an embarrassing position should the treaty negotiations be productive of aavtliing' in the svay. of acrimony.
