TWO MILES OF SUFFRAGETTES
CAMPAIGN RE-OPENED. LONDON, June 19. The suffragette campaign was reopened by a, monster procession two miles long, from the Embankment to Albert Hall. In this 10,000 suffragettes joined, several of the women leaders being on horseback. Forty bands and 650 banners were carried in the throng. ' Ladies Cockburn (Adelaide) and Stout (New Zealand) headed a contingent representing the enfranchised women of the Empire. The Australians wore a sprig of wattle, and the New Zealanders a fern leaf.
