Canterbury, oid; other than Canterbury, 5 3-Bd. Beef.—The market Is flat, and holders would like to realise. There is less demand. New Zealand hindquarters, 4id; fores, * 5-Sd. Butter.—The market is quiet, but steady. Supplies are Increasing from the Continent Choicest New Zealand butter is to-day quoted at 108/. Cheese. —The market is firmer, and there is a general active demand. White, 57/6; coloured, 57/. Hemp.—The market is very dull. There is little demand, and no change in prices. New I Zealand, good to fair, on spot, per ton, £24 ! 10/; fair, £23; fair current Manila, £22 10/; forward shipment of New Zealand good fair, per ton, £24 10/; fair, £22 10/; Manila, £22. — Cocksfoot Seed.—There is a better demand for this season's cocksfoot seed.
