FATAL GAOL RIOTS.
PRISONERS STORM THE GATE. COWED BY GUARDS' VOLLEYS. (Eeceived 8.50 a.m.) LONDON, June 16. Advices from Lahore state that 350 i habitual criminals in Fatehgahr Gaol j attempted to storm the main gate. : Ignoring warnings, they showered brickbats upon the guards, who then fired a volley, checking the rioters. Two further dangerous rushes were met by fresh volleys, and the trouble ended, after seven rioters had been killed and 50 wounded.
