RAILWAY GOODS SHED.

Whole the Commission of ten Auckland citizens was discussing railway matters with the Hon. J. A. Millar this mornin" the matter of better poods , shed accommodation at Auckland and better methods of handliug goods was referred to by Mr. A. M. Myers. "You cannot find words to express the feeling of the people of Auckland on this subject," declared Mr. Myers, and after discussing the methods employed here he suggested the advisability of using travelling platforms. TJie Minister replied that he expected that it was the fault of the .business people themselves in sending down freight at the last moment. Mr. T. Waite, traffic manager, said 75 per cent of the freight came down just before closing time. The Minister said he thought Mr. Myers' suggestion a good one, and would give it his consideration.
