Mr. Kanisay Macdonald, jVI.J , ., speaking at Wliitefield's Tabernacle, said that Germany was ahead of England because German brains were trained, and because the scientific side was developed. Instead of the biographies of Bismarck and Moltke, people should read the German philosophers and poets to discover the germs of German unity and greatness. German workmen asked him to tell Englishmen that they were fighting those elements in Germany which sought for war.
