At the Supreme Court to-day in bankruptcy, one bankrupt's discharge was suspended for nine months because -debtor had "done a great deal of reckless pkmging,'' and that of another for four months, because he had not discharged old debts, and had contracted new ones. - In the case of W. G. Gracey, the Crown Prosecutor applied for • a summons requiring bankrupt. to show cause -why he should not be committed for contempt of Court. The affidavit of the Deputy-Official Assignee showed that bankrupt had not filed a statement, had not attended meetings of the creditors, and had •virtually ignored the proceedings.
