As a result of complaints regarding tie inconvenient running of the New Plymoath-Welßngton mail trains, ' the Minister for Hallways has determined upon a remission of the time-table, ■which is almost a reversion to the original arrangement. The daily connection now provided between New Plymouth and Napier is to be * abandoned, but Auckland and New Plymouth passengers, will still be able to complete the "through, journey between - these points within the day. The alterations are to operate on and after April 1. The train, now leaving Napier for Wellington at ' 7.30 ajn. r Will leave at 5.50 ajiL, arriving at Wellington at 632 pjn. The present 10.5Q ajn. train from Wellington to Napier will leave here -at 9J.0 aaij., arriving at 7.18 p-m.
