WAITEMATA A. AND P. ASSOCIATION.
The weight of the fat beast used for guessing purposes at the Waiteraata Show proved to be 7481 and that of' the sheep 54 lbs. Mr. R. Mapp, of Midhirst, Taranaki, proved the winner in I regard to the beast, with a guess of 74Glbs., Mr. E. J. Bawden (Dairy Flat) j being second with 7551b Messrs. Mapp, (Taranaki), H. ussek (Puhoi), and B. Gee (Matakana) each guessed the exact weight of the sheep, and therefore di-l vide the prize-money amongst them.
