RICCARTON TRAINING NOTES.

(By Telegraph.Own Correspondent.) CHRISTCHURCH, this day. Trainers had lovely weather this morning. Most of the work was done on the grass. ' Zetland and Lovelorn went seven furlongs ou the sand In 1.32, and Flitaway a mile on the ploughed -track In 1.40 3-5. 'Husbandman and Madam Madcap left six furlongs behind in 1.18 1-5, and Silkweb took a tick less for the same journey. Countermine beat Tenterhook over five furlongs on the sand in 1.44. Tikitere galloped a mile and a-quarter, the last mile taking 1.47 4-5. Fasnakylo ran seven furlongs in 1.23 1-5. Kilwinning and Sharpshooter taking 1.32. Rose Noble beat Kora over five furlongs in 1.3. Gwendoline was sent a mile and a furlong on the plough, taking 2.4 3-5. Shindy and Cronstadt ran seven furlongs comfortably in L 34, and Prim a mile in L4S, Gulanforte declining to start with her. Subsequently he defeated Paragon over seven furlongs in L 32 3-5. Formless on the sand went six furlongs in 1.17 2-5, tiring at the finish. Outla beat Boutade in a mile spin in 1.45. and Passion defeated Gunboat over six furlongs in 1.17. Merry Lass went a mile in 1.45 3-5, and •White Cockade put up the big gallop of the morning, running seven furlongs in I_o. Ideate and Craig Athol sprinted half ajmile to 50 4-ss.
