- HIS MAJESTY'S THEATRE. There was another packed bouse ■at Hie Majesty's Theatre last night, to -witness the -fifth appearance of tie Rickards Vaudeville Company. This evening, the Riekaxds Company present the same programme for .positively the last time, as the management intend to give an entirely new 'bill of fare on Monday next and three following nights. The season -closes on Thursday next. The new programane will include entirely new vocal and instrumental items ,by Mies Julia Gifford, Mr. Franco Piper, Mr. Fred Bluett, Vaude and Verne, while Bob Fitzsimmons, in addition to appearing in his sketch, will lecture on his 365 contests in the ring. The Sisters Trapnell will be seen in still more wonderful feats, and the Biograph Pictures will include one round of the memorable fight 'between Sharkey and Jeffries, three, rounds of the famous Burns-Johnson' contest, and toy special request, the last •five rounds of the recent Fitzsimmons and Lang battle, which has created so much interest in the present programme, j " OPERA HOUSE. . I Another appreciative audience attended the Opera House last night, and witnessed the very excellent programme oi living pictures presented toy Mr. John Fuller. To-night there will be an en- ! tirely new programme, and the new pictures will includes such subjects as "The ; Paris Floods," "A Corner in Wiheat," i "Canadian Railway Construction," "The Pagodas of Rangoon," and a very extensive series of dramatic and comedy studies. To-night the management will present the marvellous Selbini Troupe of jugglers, heavy-weight lifters, wire walkers, magicians, conjurers, yen-1 triloquists, second sight mediums, com- i edians and musicians,' and comes direct from Wirtih's Circus. aiARLOW DRAMATIC COMPANY. Mr. George Marlow'a well-tnown Dramatic Company will on Saturday next, March 26 (Easter Saturday) make their first appearance in Auckland. The piece selected for the opening production is Frederick Melville's sensational and romantic (melodrama "Married to the Wrong Man." This piece is credited by the Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, and •Brisbane Press with being one of the greatest dramatic successes of last year. Mr. Marlow saw great possibilities in the piece, and immediately instructed his London representative to secure it. Its great success in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide and Brisbane has proved the correctness of his judgment. In Sydney at the Palace Theatre, "Married to the ■Wrong Man" ran for seven weeks to packed 'business. In , Melbourne it ran for nine weeks at the' Bijou Theatre; at the Theatre Royal, Adelaide, to nineteen nights; and in Brisbane last month to twelve nights. In Newcastle, notwithstanding the coal strike, the "piece ran ten nights to overflowing houses. The Company consists of several well-known English artists, 'besides the pick of performers, on the Australian stage. The Box Plan will be opened at Wildman and Arey's on Wednesday morning next at 10 o'clock. Day sale tickets will be available at Ooleman's, opposite H.M. Theatre, on Thursday next.
