- ',£■■ SiVATTTT G.M." CO. •- i SHAKES DECLINE IN PRICE. ' During the last few 'days there has been a sharp decline in the price _of shares in the Waihi GM. CO;, which, a short timo since sold up to 201/. Last Monday shares changed hands at 198/, but this morning shares were transferred down to 187/, and by noon-a shilling more was paid. All sorts of rumours were current, but nothing definite has transpired regarding the reason for this drop in prices. In response to a ■ wire sent, our Waihi correspondent tele» graphed to-day: "Regarding the drop in the price of Waihi shares, the cause Iβ not traceable to the mine. Development operations are proceeding as usual, and -ndth every satisfaction. Evidently "it *» duo to a market fluctuation."
