It showed that there are now ' eight „ branches in Mamikau electorate w^?, n ' ,P rury ' Papakura, Alfriston, Woodside Mangere, Pakuranga, and Whitford. A branch Is being formed at Papain , c ; ! s? d .V s intended to hold a meeting at East Tamaki within the next few weeks. It was decided to promote a series or socials throughout the district for the purpose of raising funds for organising. At the meeting, Mr H. Moody (Alfriston) made a suggestion worthy of note. He suggested that at ordinary meetings of ; branches the members from different districts should meet and compare notes on : , their farming experience; for instance, the ret alts of top-dressing, of cow-testing etc
