CENSUS OF HORSES.
LONDON, February 24. Mr. R. B. Haldane (Secretary for War) announced in the House of Commons last evening that in the last two months the police had taken a census of the horses in the United Kingdom. When this was complete the War Office would communicate it to the territorial associations.
