WAITKMATA CLOTTS GALA. The fourth annual carnival In connection with the Waitomata Swimming Club was held at the Albert-street Baths last night. There was a large attendance, including members of tho Otago cricket team, and the proceedings passed off very successfully. The racing was good, and musical selections by the Liavarlan Cand added to the enjoyment of the evening. Messrs. F. Kronfeld and N. Joan gave exhibitions of fancy diving, which were much appreciated. Tho baths were lit by electricity for the first time last night. The officials were : Judges, Messrs. J. Twlname. G. A. Tyler, and W H. Dick: referee. Mr. W. A.
