BRISBANE, February 7. In the inter-State cricket competition, Victoria defeated Queensland by 352 runs. Victoria, in their first innings, made 375 (Kenny 164, Kortlang 110), and in their second innings 276 (Scott 35, Vaughan 32, Kenny, not out, 100, Kyle 44). Queensland, in their first innings, made 205 (Thomson 31, Hartigan 58, Benbow 33), and in their second 94 IHutcheon 18 and Benbow 20).
