AMUSEMENTS.

HIS MAJESTY'S THEATRE.

In "Brewst'er's Millions/ which is to be revived by Mr. J. C. Williamson's New Dramatic Company to-night at His Majesty's Theatre for "four nights, Mr. Thomas Kingston will appear as Monty Brewster, his original character. Miss Ethel Warwick will 'be eeen as the dashing Mrs. Dan de Mdlle. A very fine spectacle is added to this clever comedy in the ship scene In the third act, where a vessel is seen lying in port with the lights of the town in the distance, and on the bluff opposite the intermittently flashing rays from the lighthouse shine out, while clouds soud across the eky. Orders are given to put to soa, the anchor is weighed, and ac the boat moves off, the shore slips by in panorama, while the ship itself begins to lift to the swell of the open ocean. Then ttbe etorm comes np, and the boat pitches and rolls more and more violently, the wind whistles through the rigging, the Hghtning flashes, and Monty Brewstert triends stagger about tho wildly-heaving decks until at last the engines break down, and Monty seizes the chance of being towed across the Atlantic and paying * salvage of £40,000. The whole effect is a triumph of stage mechanism, and thoroughly realistic. The lull strength of the company appear in the cast. "Brewster's Millions" will be played until Wednesday nlgnt.
