Deep regret was experienced at Huntly'when it became known that Mr. W 7 m. Dunn, of Kinsihia, had -passed •away in the district hospital, Hamilton. The deceased, who had been ailing, for some time, was one of the oldest residents, having settled there about forty years ago. He was 75 years of age, and a native of West Meath. Ireland. He arrived with the 6oth Bengal Regiment, and fought all through the Maori War.
