ROMULUS. WAIHI, this da.y. Mr. Geo. Arnold, who is negotiating with London mining speculators in connection with the disposal of the Romulus claim, Waihi, is, in accordance with the deed of option, in receipt of £ 100 from London. By a recent communication from that gentleman dated at Masterton he anticipated the complete success of the negotiations entered upon,and hopes that the remittance will be shortly followed by such an amount as will enable active operations to commence on the claim.
