THE MAKCKA EXCURSION. The number of excursionists from Sydney by the- Makura to the West Coast Sounds has been nrnited by the Union Company to 300. As is customary, a number of motor launches will be taken to convey the excursionists to various places of interest in the. Sounds. B. Royden. of Liverpool, owner of the Indra Line, hR3 placed an order for a large steamer to carry frozen and general cargo. The hew vessel : -will be much larger than any of the present I steamers of the line, and will be fitted up with the latest appliances for the handling of cargo. The new steamer -will trade between Australia and the United Kingdom. Captain Trotter, commodore of the line, now on the Indralema, will probably be given command of the new steamer.
