Shouting "Hands up!" a robber entered fee Merchants* National Bank in Xew -ybany, Indiana, and shot and killed Mr Fwreett. the cashier, and fatally wounded Mr Woodward, the president. The jobber attempted to cross the Ohio river in a skin, but a police motor boat overtook him, and arrested him.
