LAND BALLOT.
KOROKOSTUI AXD RANGITOTO BLOCKS. The remaining sections in the Korokonui and Rangitoto Ko. 1 and No. 2 blocks, not disposed of on Friday, were ballotted for on Saturday morning. Throughout the whole ballot the only tenure which has found favour has been that of occupation with right of purchase. Not one of the sections has been taken up on leasehold. The ballot was conducted by Mr. E. C. Gold-Smith, Commissioner of Crown I-ands, assisted by Mr. W. J. Mujiro. The results of Saturday's ballot are appended:— KOaOKOSUI.
