SPLENDID DISCIPLINE.

NO SIGN OF PANIC. (Received 11.6 a.m.) BRISBANE, this day. Splendid discipline prevailed aboard the Waipafa, the boats being swung out and lifebelts served out in a few minutes. The vessel had hardly gathered way after discharging the pilot when she struck. The pilot immediately boarded again, and drove the steamer on to the beach, two miles distant. Fortunately, the water did not invade the engine-room,. permitted this to be done. There, was no excitement or panic' among the passengers.
