AEROPLANE TOURNEY.
A RECORD PLIGHT. PARIS, August 26. In connection with the Rheims tests. M. Paulhan established a world's record, remaining in the air for 2 hours 43 minutes 28 seconds, and covering 81 2-5 miles. In the last portion of the flight he gallantly contended with rain and a high wind until his supply of petrol became exhausted. M. Latham covered 18} miles in 32 | minutes.
