CAVALRY HORSES.
STATE PREMIUM SYSTEM. LONDON, August 25. It is stated that a scheme for national horse-breeding, to be worked out by the Board of Agriculture and the War Office, will shortly be introduced, and that the State premiums will involve an outlay of £30,000 annually.
