WEiDNEiSDAY FOOTBALL. An A and B practice match wa« played at Alexandra Park yesterday, for the purpost of enabling the selectors to l noose a representative team. Both teams were considerably weakened, the B team eventually winning by 21 points to 8. SATURDAY'S MATCHES. The following arrangements have be>ju made for Saturday's matches:— REPRESENTATIVE MATCHES. HUNTLY, Wednesday. The following team has been chosen to represent Hun-tly in the final cap match to be played at Taupiri on Saturday nest:— Full-back, Crdzier; taree-quarters, Peckham, Thorpe, Gleeson; five-eighths, Paki; half, Clout; wings, Buchanan, Currie; forwards, Johnston, Mclntosh, Dunn, Jones, Russell, McKlllop, Kayuer. Emergencies. Back, Hayes; forwards, Wright, Dunn. WAIHI RUGBY UNION. WAIHI, Wednesday. The weekly meeting of the Management Committee of t.he Waihi Kugby Union was held at the Rob Roy Hotel last evening. A letter was received from Mr. H. Bush, secretary of the Goldfields Rugby Union, notifying the Waihi Union that one of their players had been cautioned for rough play in the Goldfields match, and Instructing the Union to notify the player. It was i decided to continue cup fixtures on Saturday, when the Waitete and Waihi Clubs meet dn the senior grade, and Waitete and Mataura in the third grade. There will be no first junior fixture, as Waitete have won the Junior cap.
