LONDON. (Received 0 a.m.) LONDON, August 25 Tallow.—At the auction !.H7 casks were offered, and OuO sold. Good mutton, unchanged; rest advanced 3d. Silver.—Bar silver is quoted at 23 5-16 d per oz standard. C.C. AND D. CABLE, (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) NAPIER, this day. The C.C. and D. Company cau;eil the following report:— I'rozen Meat Market: The mutton market is a little firmer, but second quality lamb has further declined in value, and lower prices must be expected until stocks are reduced. To-day's prices: Mutton, Canter bury 2§d, Napier, Wellington, and North Island, 23d. Lamb: First quality 3gd, second 3d. Beef: Hinds 35d, fores 2id.
