(By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) A concert nnd dance, promoted it>j the Tuakau iFootball Club, was- held- in the Literary Hall on J?rida.y evening last. There Avas a very large attendance, a mimiber attending from One-rohero and Pnkekawa. Air. Madill acted as chairman, and !Mj. Maseey, M.V., president of the club, was present. During the interval, iMr. Massey presented tne ohamjiionsliip tncdaU of the Franklin ißugby Union, won. by the Tuakaii F-.C. last aeason. The following programme was presented, and heartily enjoyed (by all present, nearly every item being encored: Duet, Misses Hunter and Taylor; song 3 'by Misses Clark, Scanleu, Hunter, Crawford, Mesdames Ellie, G. Hunter, Messrs. Geo. Hunter, G. Morgan, Munns; and a recitation by Mr. J. Madill. After the concert was concluded, the hall was cleared for dancing, which was indulged in till nearly morning. The music for concert and dance was provided .by Mrs. Hunter, Messrs. Madill and Tapper.

OTAH7JHU.

The 'Rev. 11. presided at the annual reunion of the members of tie Otahuhurcum-Pnnmure Parish. A pianoforte overture was ployed by Miss Lord, and songs were rendered by Mrs Howarth, Misses Wignall and Carson, and Messrs Lobb and Wills. Six girls from the Papsitoetoe Orphan Homo sang two part songs vury pleasingly, and a vocal quartet was contributed by Messrs Bulleu (2), White, and Wills. Mr B. Bullen gave a recitation, and Messrs Jameson and Batt contributed mandoline selections. The vicar said that satisfactory progress was being made with the fnnd for the new church, which amounted to about £300.
