A NEGLECTED CITY FOOTPATH.

(To the Editor.) Sir, —Allow he to protest on behalf of a very large number of people concerning the state of the footpath past the Reservoir corner, along Karanga-hape-road. It is certainly no credit to the City Council. After a shower of rain the path is in a disgraceful condition of mud and slueh for a leading thoroughfare of the city. Surely we can. have a load of ecoria to tide us over the wet weather. If not we must arrange a working-bee, and some Wed-, nesday afternoon endeavour to make the path passable for pedestrians.—l am, etc., A SUFFERER.
