The Collector of Customs received a wire last evening from the captain of the Government s.s. Hinemoa (now' at Tairua) to the effect that ie would arrive at Auckland on Saturday evening. The Hinemoa will proceed from Auckland on her tour of the northern lighthouses. At Messrs Samuel Vaile and Sons' land sale rooms this afternoon, a Cottage property in Sale-street, on allotment 26 x 75 feet, was sold for £180. The only other property offered was a cottage in -Stewartstreet, off "Vermont-street, which was passed in at £350.
