EARLY MEETING OF PARLIAMENT.
TO DISCVSS THE SITUATION.
MELBOURNE, April 4. Mr. Deakin has sent a letter signed by a number of members of the Federal Parliament to the Prime Minister, Mr. Fisher, asking him to call Parliament together earlier than was intended to discuss the naval situation.
The Minister for Defence states that the Government is preparing to meet Parliament a month earlier than usual.
