PARNELL FOOTBALL CLUB. | The annual meeting of the Parnell Football Club took place In the gymnasium last night. The president (Mr. P. B. Fraser) was In the chair, and there was a good attendance. The annual report showed that the second grade team did well last season, though It did not win tHe competition. " The other teams did not do so welt The. finances are sound. The Auckland Rugby: Union had donated a furtier £30 towards the cost of the training hall, upon which. there Is still a liability of £200, which will, however, be reduced out of tha Bank balance. The report was adopted. The balance-sheet showed receipts £102 18s. 2d., expenditure £30 10s.. Id., assets £672 Bs. Id., liabilities £200. Ten new members were elected. The election of officers resulted' as follows:—President, Mr. P. E. Fraser; hori. secretary and treasurer, Mr. A. Twiname; assistant secretary and treasurer, Mr. J. Hardwlcke; committee, Messrs. J. Smith. Cowley, Armstrong. F. Smith, Tonks, Forgle, and Haddrell; delegates to Auckland Rugby Union, Messrs. 8. W. Somerfield, H. G. Chevls, and F. S. Murray; auditor. Sir. P. E. Fraser. The election of vice-presidents and hall custodian was left In the hands of the committee.
