RIFLE SHOOTING.
A_A_A-A RIFLE CLUB. The members of the Akarana Hifle Club fired two of their usual weekly trophy matches on their range at Penrose on Saturday afternoon. The wind, though light, waa very tricky. A class members fired for Mr. 3. Burns' trophy, for which Mr. W. S. Moore was top scorer with. Bft. three points ahead of Mr. A. Danrell. while in the B class Mr. J. Sorenson won outright Mr. Simpson" s trophy, this being his second win in succession. Mr. Vf. Moore wins the club's usual weekly trophy. The best individual range scores: At 600 yds. the 46 of Mr. G. T. Kretschmar and_ the 44 of Mr. 1. Sorenson. and at 700 yds the 44 of Mr J. Sorenson and the 43 of Mr. W. S Moore. The following are the scores of the principal competitors in detail:— MB. J.
