NORTH SHORE YACHT CLUB. The North Shore Yacht Club held a series or yacht rapes in the harbour on Saturday afternoon last, when a light southerly wind prevailed. Mr V. Bennett acted as starter and Judge, and the timekeepers were Messrs 11. Hill and S. White. Following are the particulars of the races:— Class I.—Mlro. Bin, 1; Thistle, 3m 2\Valrere, scratch. 3. These were the only starters. The finishing times were: Thistle, Oh 34m 355; Miro, 5h 3Om; Walrere 5h 40m 325. On time allowance Miro Is first. Thistle second, and Walrere third. Class ll.—Mystery, om, 1; Emerald scratch, 2. Also started: Sybil, 7m aud Mystery, Om. The flnlshitsg times wereEmerald, oh 50m 40s; Mystery, oh 56m 30s! Sybil did not finish. Class lll..—Waitangi. 7im. 1; Geisha 2lm, 2; Ulady, scratch, 3. Also started: Maru 51m, and Ranee, 7m. The boats finished as follows:—Glady, 6m 7m 50s; Geisha 6h 9iu 425; Waitangi. 6h llm 5Gs; Ranee,'eh 18m 255. Maru did not finish. Corrected times place Waitangi first, Geisha second, and Glady third. Class IV.—Hetty, 3m. 1; Hilda, 3m. 2; Mowul, scratch, 3. Also started: Welcome Jack, 3m, and Daphne, 15m. The finish was as follows:—Hetty. 4h olm 30s: Mowal 4h 50m: Hilda, 4h r.lm; Welcome Jack oh mi iios; Daphne, Dh 12m 20s. On time allowance Hetty is first. Hilda second, and Mowal third. DBVONPORT YACHT CLUB. The Devonport Yacht Club held a series afternoon last. The results were as follows:! Class 1: Aorere (finishing time, sh. 22ra. 505.), 1: Ngatlra (or. 2am.), 2; Kotlrl (sh. 23m. 50sec), 3. Class II: Ronabi (finishing time, sh. Bm. 255.), 1; Iris (sh. 23m. 405.), 2; Celox (sb. lorn. 55.). 3. Pandora finished at 5b.. 48m 415., securing fourth place. Launch race.—Huia, 1; Floral, 2; Banshee, 3. The finishing times were: Floral, 4h. I 5m.: Banshee, 4h. sm. 30c: Buffalo. 4h 4m 75.; Alice, 4U. 7m. 75.; Hula, 4h. 41m. 30s. MANUKAU YACHT CLUB. The above club sailed their seventh race of the season on Saturday afternoon last.
