METHODIST CONFERENCE.

DIVISION OF DISTRICTS. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. In connection with the Methodist Con-fereneey-special services were held in all the Methodist Churches in the city and suburbs, and an open-air meeting was held in the Basin Reserve in the afternoon. All were largely attended and enthusiastic. The Conference met in rt presentative session this morning. Sympathy was expressed with the Rev. F. W. Boys in his breakdown in health, with the hope that it would be temporary. It was decided to divide the Manukau Circuit, the new circuit to be caJled Otahuhu and Onehunga, and also the Muaurangi Circuit to be called the iMahurangi Circuit and Port Albert Home Mission Station. It was also decided, to divide the Upper Thames circuit, to be called the Upper Thames and Waihi and Paeroa circuits. A committee -was set up to consider the adjustments of the .boundaries of the districts, to meet in Wellington during the year and report to the next Synod. In the South' Wairarapa circuit the second missionary is to be retained at Featherston, and a Home Missionary at Greytown. In the Blenheim Circuit the second minister is to ■be retained at Tuamarina, and the (Home Missionary at Picton. Kumara is to be attached to the Greymouth Circuit.
