Thi. season's Canterbury is quoted at Sid, other than Canterbury 5Jd, Australian 4cl, Argentine 3_d. Beef. —The market is weak, and there is •less demand. Supplies of Rlvor Tlate beef are heavy. Current quotations: New Zealand hindquarters 3_d, forequarters 2_d. Danish beef is selling at a low price, down to 3*d. Butter.—The market is duU on account of heajvy arrivals. Choicest Jv'ew Zealand 'butter is quoted at 106/, DauiS'h 115/, Australian 103/, Argentine 104/, Siberian 102/ per owt. Cheese.—The market is quiet, and holders are firm, there being no change in prices. •Hemp.—The market ■continues dull. Current quotations: -Good fair grade, ou spot. £24; fair grade, on spot, £22 0/: fair current Manila, ou spot, £23 10/: March shipment, good fair grade. £23 10/; fair grade, £22; fair current Manila, £22 0/. Last week's Manila output amounted to lio,ooo ■bales. Wheat.—The market is active, with good demand. 'Nominal quotations: New Zealand long-berried wheat, oil spot, ex granary, per quarter of 4081b. 3S/6. Oats.—The market is quiet, but firm.
