COX'S CREEK DRAINAGE.

A letter was read at the meeting of ■ Grey Lynn Council last night, complainin- about the nuisance at Oox's Greek, j : owing to the drainage deposed there. The Mayor (Mr. George Sayers) said the city were ofienders in this particular instance, although Grey Lynn also deposited its drainage there. He intended Ito move at the next meeting of the •Drainazo Board that this work be considered urgent, and work be commenced there at the earliest possible date. His idea was that the City and Grey should join in the work of temporarily carrying the sewage beyond the outer bridge. Probably that could be done by a wooden chute.
