MEETINGS & ENTERTAINMENTS
RECITAL AT ALL SAINTS' CHURCH. Last evening, at All Saints' Church, Ponsciuby, a recital of sacreu music was given in aid of the ehnreh maintenance fund, the F. C. Thomas presiding. Items were rendered by Madnni Chambers. Miss Carter, Messrs H. Stebbing and Lambert, the latter giving a sympathetic rendering of "Simple Avon" (Thome) on the 'cello. Mr S. K. Phillips' gave two excellent solos at the organ, and accompanied the choir In three ably rendered anthems. Tho programma was much appreciated by a good audience.
The ladies of the Monnt Koskill Primitive Methodist Church are to be congratulated upon the large collectiou of articles exhibited at their sale of work. Owing to the inclement weather on Wednesday, tie sale, ns ndvertised, will continue to-night and Friday.
