X 3957 15/-; S. Urow-n, Wellington, £4106 13/4. The tender of Winstone. Limited, was accepted. The Taumarunui Totara CVirupany tendered for a portion of the sleepers only, the price being .slightly above the accepted tender. Other mills in the King Country did not tender, as they were fully occirpied in supplying aIJ the sleepers which can be produced for the Government.
